Bonnie Ora Sherk’s<\/strong> <\/em>art installation on Crossroads Community (the farm), <\/i><\/b>an early Life Frame <\/i>and pioneering, urban agriculture project,<\/i>\u00a0 which she founded and directed beginning in 1974,<\/i><\/b>\u00a0was featured in “Hungry City”<\/i><\/b>at Kunstraum Kreuzberg\/Bethanien Museum<\/i> in Berlin, Germany, curated by Anne Kersten<\/i>. \u00a0The exhibition was August 31st – October 28th, 2012. The artist who was in Germany to help mount the show, also presented a featured, illustrated lecture, \u00a0From The Farm To A Living Library<\/i><\/b>. <\/i>View a Gallery<\/a> of the exhibit featured on DW.<\/p>\n

Another exhibit, “Green Acres: Artists Farming Fields, Greenhouses and Abandoned Lots”<\/i><\/b>, curated by Sue Spaid,<\/i>\u00a0featured another installation of\u00a0The Farm,<\/i><\/b>including the artist’s original drawing of The Farm, <\/i>seen below. \u00a0The exhibit was shown at\u00a0the\u00a0Cincinnati Contemporary Arts Center\u00a0<\/i>from September 22, 2012 – January 20, 2013, and will open in the\u00a0American University’s Museum<\/i> in Washington, D.C., in\u00a0September, 2013.\u00a0Find out more about “Green Acres<\/em>”\u00a0here<\/a>, and read an\u00a0article<\/a>\u00a0about the exhibition.<\/p>\n
