Life Frames, Inc.<\/i>\u00a0is pleased to announce a grant from\u00a0Lauren Bon<\/i><\/b>\u00a0& The\u00a0Metabolic Studio\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/b>for the\u00a0Branch Living Library & Think Park Programs<\/i><\/b>\u00a0at seven SFUSD schools in San Francisco, PreK-12. \u00a0<\/i><\/b>This generous grant enables\u00a0A Living Library<\/i><\/b>\u00a0to work with over 1500 students monthly, year-round, during the school day, after school, and during the summer, in hands-on, interdisciplinary, standards-based learning, and ecological greening of their school and community.<\/div>\n

The\u00a0Metabolic Studio<\/i>\u00a0grant is a complement to the funding from the\u00a0San Francisco Department of Children, Youth, and Their Families (DCYF)<\/i><\/b>, which has funded the\u00a0Branch Living Library & Think Parks<\/i>\u00a0since 2002 for the After-School Programs.<\/div>\n

* NOTE:<\/strong> \u00a0The\u00a0OMI\/Excelsior Living Library & Think Park<\/i>\u00a0and the\u00a0Bernal Heights\u00a0Living Library & Think Park<\/i>\u00a0are both part of the\u00a0Islais Creek Watershed,<\/i>\u00a0where\u00a0Life Frames<\/i>\u00a0is also developing the\u00a0Bernal Heights Living Library Nature Walk<\/i><\/b>, linking schools, parks, public housing, streets, and other open spaces leading to currently hidden Islais Creek at the south side of St. Mary’s Park.<\/div>\n
