{"id":5045,"date":"2013-12-13T14:30:34","date_gmt":"2013-12-13T22:30:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alivinglibrary.org\/archive-site\/?p=5045"},"modified":"2013-12-13T14:49:26","modified_gmt":"2013-12-13T22:49:26","slug":"metabolic-studio-grant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alivinglibrary.org\/archive-site\/omiexcelsior\/metabolic-studio-grant","title":{"rendered":"New Grant For A Living Library &#8211; Lauren Bon &#038; The Metabolic Studio !"},"content":{"rendered":"<div lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><i>Life Frames, Inc.<\/i>\u00a0is pleased to announce a grant from\u00a0<b><i>Lauren Bon<\/i><\/b>\u00a0&amp; The\u00a0<b><b><i>Metabolic Studio\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/b>for the\u00a0<b><i>Branch Living Library &amp; Think Park Programs<\/i><\/b>\u00a0<b><i>at seven SFUSD schools in San Francisco, PreK-12. \u00a0<\/i><\/b>This generous grant enables\u00a0<b><i>A Living Library<\/i><\/b>\u00a0to work with over 1500 students monthly, year-round, during the school day, after school, and during the summer, in hands-on, interdisciplinary, standards-based learning, and ecological greening of their school and community.<\/div>\n<div lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<div lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/alivinglibrary.org\/archive-site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/fun.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><a href=\"https:\/\/alivinglibrary.org\/archive-site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/IMG_2502.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"IMG_2502\" src=\"https:\/\/alivinglibrary.org\/archive-site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/IMG_2502-250x187.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"187\" \/><\/a>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"fun\" src=\"https:\/\/alivinglibrary.org\/archive-site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/fun-250x187.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"187\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div lang=\"EN-US\">\n<div lang=\"EN-US\">\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div><em><strong>The\u00a0Branch Living Library &amp; Think Parks\u00a0supported by Metabolic Studio are:<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<div>\n<div><strong><i>OMI\/Excelsior Living Library &amp; Think Park<\/i>\u00a0<\/strong>in the Excelsior at Leadership High School, James Denman Middle School, San Miguel Child Development Center <strong>*<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><strong><i>Bernal Heights\u00a0Living Library &amp; Think Park<\/i><\/strong>\u00a0in Bernal Heights at Junipero Serra Elementary School, Junipero Serra\u00a0Child Development Center <strong>*<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><strong><i>Chinatown Living Library &amp; Think Park<\/i>\u00a0<\/strong>at Gordon Lau ES and Commodore Stockton\u00a0Child Development Center<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>The\u00a0<i>Metabolic Studio<\/i>\u00a0grant is a complement to the funding from the\u00a0<b><i>San Francisco Department of Children, Youth, and Their Families (DCYF)<\/i><\/b>, which has funded the\u00a0<i>Branch Living Library &amp; Think Parks<\/i>\u00a0since 2002 for the After-School Programs.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div><strong>We are very grateful to our funders !
