Park Department<\/strong> <\/em>on Tuesday, December 17th to plant 292 California native plants\u00a0on the hillside adjacent to St. Mary&#8217;s Recreation Center, as part of the\u00a0<b><i>Bernal Heights Living Library Nature Walk.\u00a0 <\/i><\/b>So much was accomplished and the<b><i> Nature Walk <\/i><\/b>is growing<i><\/i><b><i> !<\/i><i><br \/><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/alivinglibrary.org\/archive-site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/small1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/alivinglibrary.org\/archive-site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/small1-250x187.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"187\" \/>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/alivinglibrary.org\/archive-site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/small2.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/alivinglibrary.org\/archive-site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/small2-250x187.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"187\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Volunteers planted all California Natives:\u00a0 Ceanothus (<em>Ceanothus griseus horizontalis\u00a0<\/em>&#8216;Yankee Point&#8217;), California Fuchsia (<em>Epilobium canum<\/em>), Yarrow (<em>Achillea spp.<\/em>), Douglas Iris (<em>Iris douglasiana<\/em>), Sticky Monkey (<em>Mimulus aurantiacus<\/em>), Penstemon (<em>Penstemon<\/em> &#8216;Electric Blue&#8217;
