Great Salesforce Crew Volunteers To Plant Living Library Nature Walk !"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On August 14 another great group from <em><strong>Salesforce<\/strong><\/em> led by <em><strong>Aditya Devhar<\/strong><\/em>, joined forces with <em><strong>Life Frames Inc.&#8217;s, Bonnie Ora Sherk<\/strong><\/em>, and <em><strong>Recreation and Park Deparment Staff<\/strong> <\/em>in <em><strong>Holly Park<\/strong><\/em>, to plant more California Natives in the <em><strong>Living Library Nature Walk<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 On this day, their work focused on the <em><strong>Children&#8217;s Playground<\/strong><\/em> in the Park.\u00a0 Ceanothus, Matilja Poppies, and fragrant Salvia were planted under the existing Ceanothus Ray Hartman trees that had been planted earlier as part of the <em>Nature Walk<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/alivinglibrary.org\/archive-site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/IMG_7501.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-6067\" src=\"https:\/\/alivinglibrary.org\/archive-site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/IMG_7501-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_7501\" Walk<\/strong><\/em> is linking multiple parks, schools, public housing, and streets in the area through a new narrative landscape, all leading to the currently hidden <em><strong>Islais Creek<\/strong><\/em> at the south side of<em><strong> St. Mary&#8217;s Park<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 This <em>Nature Walk<\/em> is a prototype for what could be happening throughout the <em><strong>Islais Creek Watershed<\/strong><\/em>, the largest in San Francisco that interconnects eleven neighborhoods in <em><strong>Southeast and Southwest San Francisco<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Everyone had a great time on this day, and the area is greatly improved !\u00a0 See for yourself !<\/p>\n<p><a
