Garden \/ Ecology \/ Multi-Arts \/\u00a0Literacy \/ Nutrition\u00a0Teachers<\/em><\/strong> work diligently to create a relevant, standards-based, interdisciplinary, and fun, hands-on\u00a0curriculum\u00a0for students (PreK-12) and teachers, that meets national and state standards and also helps to improve the local environment of each school and neighborhood. \u00a0In San Francisco, our school programs are based at <strong><em>7 SFUSD schools in OMI\/Excelsior, Bernal Heights, and Chinatown<\/em><\/strong>. \u00a0Combined at these schools we work with <strong><em>over 1000 children and youth each month<\/em><\/strong> in hands-on learning, beginning with the very young children to those in high school.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Our A.L.L. curriculum involves multiple aspects of <strong><em>A Living Library Framework<\/em><\/strong> that includes the local resources of each community: \u00a0human, ecological, economic, historic, technological, and aesthetic &#8211; seen through the lens of time &#8211; past,\u00a0present, future.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday,\u00a0A.L.L.
