The 90-minute panel was led by <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/lindaweintraub.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Linda Weintraub<\/a><\/strong>, curator, artist and author of several popular books about contemporary art. This year, the\u00a0<em>Conference\u00a0<\/em>was themed around <em>Sustainability,<\/em>\u00a0emphasizing the field of socially engaged art,<em>\u00a0<\/em>and featured distinguished artist Mel Chin and writer, curator Lucy Lippard among others.\u00a0<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the session <span class=\"s1\"><b><i>The Power of Time<\/i><\/b><i>,\u00a0<\/i>Bonnie Ora talked about her early work\u00a0<strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=BC12cyynH1g\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Crossroads Community (The Farm)<\/a>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>as well as her <a href=\"https:\/\/alivinglibrary.org\/archive-site\/omiexcelsior\/presentation-bonnie-ora-sherk-living-library-goals-accomplishments\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ongoing eco-art project\u00a0<em><strong>A Living Library<\/strong><\/em><\/a><em>. <\/em>The presentations were followed by a discussion among the panelists comparing the past and present state of social practice art, and its various aspects including thematic focus, financial support, public interface, professional recognition, and
