A LIVING LIBRARY creates site & culturally-sensitive community learning environments. Each LIVING LIBRARY is established through public participation and incorporates the local resources - human, ecological, economic, historic, technological and aesthetic. The transformative process becomes part of the curricula of the school day, builds community and contributes to the renewal of resources, relationships and wildlife habitat. Each Branch LIVING LIBRARY will function as a public magnet for the local community.
