Gardens for next spring with wonderful community participation of all ages: Harvesting, Composting and Planting for the next season with the help of school children and community residents.

Educating Students about How to Harvest & Prepare Garden for Next Spring

Students from Roosevelt Island PS/IS 217 Beacon and The Child School have been regular visitors to Roosevelt Island Living Library & Think Park Garden, learning about growing plants and the benefits of fresh and organic food from their beloved Ms. China. An enthusiastic group of ninth graders from Rudolph Steiner School, New York City were among the latest visitors to the A.L.L. Gardens who helped in planting hundreds of daffodil bulbs and turned the compost.
