A.L.L. GREEN FUTURES Eco-Stewards hone their chopping skills
Students harnessed the energy of the sun using a solar oven to roast sunflower seeds for a crunchy salad topping. They whisked their own lemon vinaigrette using lemons from the Lemon Tree in the Lower Garden of the OMI/Excelsior Living Library & Think Park. The summer A.L.L. Eco-Stewards shared their bounty with a younger group of students from San Miguel Early Education School. A good time was had by all!
